WHAT IS THE SCHOOLYARDBOX?

The Schoolyardbox a subscription box that sends a variety of math and literacy play-based activities to your child monthly. Each month your child will receive 10 interactive activities that are based off the Canadian curriculum, six of which will be laminated for hours of continued play.

 

HOW MANY ACTIVITIES COME IN EACH THE SCHOOLYARDBOX?

You will receive five literacy activities and five math activities. Each set of five will contain three of which are laminated for continuous use that can be played all year long while two activities will be worksheet based.

 

HOW ARE THE SCHOOLYARDBOX ACTIVITIES CREATED?

All activities are created specifically for The Schoolyardbox by a certified Canadian elementary school teacher.

 

WHAT ARE THE SCHOOLYARDBOX OPTIONS?

We offer four boxes which are each based off a level of education: Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 1 & 2, and Grade 3 & 4.

 

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED AGE RANGE WHEN SUBSCRIBING TO THE SCHOOLYARDBOX?

We recommend the Schoolyardbox for children aged 2 to 10 years old. Our Fundy box is geared towards children 2 to 4 years old. Our Banff box focuses on children 4 to 6 years old. Our Whistler box focuses on children 6 to 8 years old and our Tofino box is for children from 8 to 10 years old.

 

HOW MUCH DOES A SUBSCRIPTION COST?

The Schoolyardbox starts at $24.95CAD/month plus tax. We want you and your child to continue to play and learn, so the longer you subscribe to a box the lower the price! If you subscribe for 12 months, the price will drop 20% to $19.96CAD/month plus tax and shipping.

 

IF I SIGN UP TODAY, WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY FIRST BOX?

From the minute you subscribe we begin to process your box! It will ship within 2-5 business days, arriving at your door in approximately 3-10 business days depending on your location.

 

DOES EVERYONE RECEIVE THE SAME ACTIVITIES EACH MONTH?

Each month will be based on a theme, all four boxes will have activities based on that theme. The activities between box level will change in accordance to curriculum and age bracket. 

 

 

Managing your subscription

 

CAN I CHANGE MY BOX TYPE PART WAY THROUGH MY SUBSCRIPTION?

Yes! We hope you will continue to play and learn with your children as they progress through the levels of our boxes. To change your box, log into your account online. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at info@theschoolyardbox.com. Please ensure to give at least 48 hours from your monthly box is scheduled to ship to allow us to make the change for you.

 

I DIDN’T RECEIVE AN ORDER CONFIRMATION FOR MY SUBSCRIPTION. WHAT DO I DO?

All information around your subscription can be found in your account. Simply log into your account and you can find your order number and the breakdown of your subscription.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF I ACCIDENTALLY SIGNED UP FOR MORE THAN ONE SUBSCRIPTION?

DO YOU OFFER GIFT CARDS?

We are sorry, we currently do not offer gift cards.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept credit card and debit card payments from Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.

 

HOW CAN I CHANGE MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER?

You can log into your account to change your method of payment at any time!

 

WHEN WILL I BE BILLED FOR MY SCHOOLYARDBOX SUBSCRIPTION?

Your first box will be billed when you sign up for your subscription. Each following month of your subscription you will be charged monthly on the same date. For example, if you signed up for your monthly subscription on November 22, your next billing would be December 22. If you decide to take advantage of our discounts and choose a 3, 6, or 12 month plan you will be charged on that same subscription date in the corresponding timeframe to which you signed up.

 

WHEN WILL MY SUBSCRIPTION RENEW?

Your subscription will renew on your subscription date in correspondence to the length of subscription you chose.

 

HOW DO I CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION?

We always want to keep playing and learning together and will be sad to see you go! You can cancel through logging into your account to cancel your subscription. Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, but please make sure you cancel before 48 hours of your renewal to not be charged for the current month. Prepaid subscriptions of 3, 6, or 12 months are not refundable, but can be cancelled for the next billing period through your online account. Please ensure it is before 48 hours of your renewal to not be charged for your next subscription period.  Prepaid plans can be transferred to another child. WHAT IS THE LAST DAY I CAN CANCEL BEFORE I GET BILLED AGAIN?

You must cancel 48 hours before your subscription renewal date if you do not want your subscription to renew.

 

DO YOU CHARGE SALES TAX?

We charge HST for Canadian orders as our business is located in Ontario.

WHICH COUNTRIES DO YOU SHIP TO? 

Currently we ship to Canada and the United States.

 

WHEN WILL MY SCHOOLYARDBOX BE SHIPPED?

Your Schoolyardbox will ship within 3-7 business days of signing up for your subscription. It will continue to ship monthly 3-7 business days from your subscription date monthly.

 

DO YOU OFFER EXPEDITED SHIPPING?

Sorry, unfortunately at this point we don’t.

 

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY SCHOOLYARDBOX ORDER TO ARRIVE?

Depending on your location, it can take approximately 3-10 business days for your Schoolyardbox to be delivered.

 

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

Upon shipping, you will receive a shipping confirmation that will provide tracking information.

 

HOW DO I UPDATE MY SHIPPING ADDRESS?

Please log into your account and ensure we have the correct shipping address so we can make sure you continue to receive your box and continue to play and learn!

 

IT’S BEEN 10 DAYS SINCE MY BOX SHIPPED AND I STILL HAVEN’T RECEIVED IT. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
